Wells Legion - BC/Yukon Branch #128

**This page is still under construction.

Our Legion in Wells is a Community Service Organization dedicated to serving Veterans, Ex-Service Personnel, Seniors, and Youth, as well as many other aspects of community life through three (3) major avenues:

1) Remembrance - allows us to reflect and honour those who died during their service, Veterans, and those who are still serving.

Lest We Forget. These words are spoken every November 11 and it is one of the duties of the Legion to make sure that the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our Country, the Veterans, those still serving, and their families sacrifices are never forgotten.

2) Membership - by joining the Legion and volunteering your skills and time you can make a real difference in your community!

As the years take their toll on Canada's veteran population, the Legion needs the infusion of new blood in order to maintain the many services provided by the Royal Canadian Legion to communities like ours across Canada. For information on how to join please contact the Membership Chairperson.

3) Giving - financial contributions can make a world of difference; it is also a way of saying "Thank-you" and assisting your community.

Your donations dollars are used for a variety of things both Locally and Provincially. Programs such as Veterans Transition Programs; Bursaries, Grants, and Scholarships; Youth Groups and Programs; Veterans and Seniors Housing; Wheelchair Accessibility (renovations and projects); Fire and Rescue Equipment; Education Programs; and Community Events.
